Tonbridge Camera Club has a membership of over 80 people of all ages with a wide range of photographic skills.  We offer an informal, friendly and supportive environment for photographers at all levels of experience and you will receive a warm welcome.

Our main Thursday meetings are held at the Weald of Kent Grammar School (see map below) from early September until May.  Arrival is from 7:00 pm for a 7:45 pm start and meetings end around 10.00 p.m. We have a break for refreshments during which you can chat and get to know other members.

Our Programme includes:

  • Presentations from guest speakers who will share their photographic interests or provide technical insight

  • Competitions for prints and projected digital images and slides

  • Members' Evenings where individuals can talk about some of their images and give the story behind them

  • Interactive Evenings

  • Workshops on Camera Craft and Photographic Techniques

  • Outings to places of photographic interest

  • Our highly-regarded Exhibition

  • The opportunity to socialise and make new friends

Our Subgroups are held on most Mondays from 8.00 – 10.00 p.m., again with a break for refreshments, and include:

  • Enhancing your images using Photoshop

  • Digital photography techniques

  • Image discussion

  • Photographic distinctions

  • Audio-visual presentations

You can attend two Thursday meetings and two Monday subgroup meetings completely free of charge before committing to joining the Club.

Are there are restrictions?
No – but if you are under 16 years of age you must be accompanied by an adult to our meetings.
